	Malibu's Most Wanted
	John Whitesell Jamie Kennedy, Taye Diggs, Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall, Blair Underwood, Damien Dante Wayans, Ryan O'Neal, Bo Derek, Jeffrey Tambor, Snoop Dogg 2003		One day, the feckless comedy "Malibu's Most Wanted" may be revived on art-house double bills with Eminem's movie debut "8 Mile," since they both concern the phenomenon of Caucasian kids embracing rap culture to the point of mimicry. Until then, "Malibu's Most Wanted" is only notable as the first film to flaunt the dubious comic talents of Jamie Kennedy, star of the spoofy "Candid Camera"-style TV show "The Jamie Kennedy Experience." The movie follows the idiotic ramblings of self-styled "gangsta" rapper Brad "B-Rad" Gluckman (Kennedy), well-off son of a candidate for governor (Ryan O'Neal). Dad's campaign manager (Blair Underwood) perceives B-Rad as a liability and hires two snooty black actors (Taye Diggs, Anthony Anderson) to play thugs who will scare Brad into dropping his ghetto pose. But B-Rad won't back down. Some of the writing is funny; some of the cast members bring it on (Diggs, Anderson, Regina Hall). But Kennedy's short on big-screen presence, and "Malibu's Most Wanted" feels like a stretched-to-monotony sketch. Target demographic? Young MTV-watchers. For the rest of us, it'll be far from "...Most Wanted."
