	The Adventures Of Pluto Nash
	Ron Underwood Eddie Murphy, Rosario Dawson, Randy Quaid, Joe Pantoliano, Pam Grier, Peter Boyle, Jay Mohr, John Cleese, Luis Guzman 2002		Long-delayed, tainted by rumors of lameness and generally beset by the howls of the industry's self-proclaimed bomb-sniffing dawgs, "The Adventures of Pluto Nash" is everything the bankrolling movie studio feared it would be. It's not just bad, but irredeemably dull, which explains why there were no advance screenings for critics after the film sat on the shelf for well over a year. It's a sci-fi action comedy with no internal logic, no exciting action and next to no laughs. With its huge budget depleted by unspectacular, ineffectual special effects and the high price of star Eddie Murphy, there must have been no money to hire joke-writers to punch up its punchless script. All that's left is a leering, swaggering Murphy as Pluto Nash, an ex-con who becomes a successful nightclub owner on the lunar colony of the future; Rosario Dawson as his no-chemistry leading lady; Randy Quaid as his grating robot bodyguard; and a lot of talent (Pam Grier, Peter Boyle, Jay Mohr, John Cleese, etc.) abused in weak cameos.
