You know how, in crappy horror films, somebody always says something like "Don't go in the house!"? In the case of "Halloween: Resurrection," they should be talking about the movie house. The latest installment in the "Halloween" series about indestructible serial killer Michael Myers (not to be confused with zany comic actor Mike Myers) is the absolute worst, most boring exercise in trying to flog money out of unsuspecting consumers since the last "Friday the 13th" film, "Jason X." At least "Jason X" had the advantage of being funny. This tired retread doesn't even try. Although they lured Jamie Lee Curtis back to reprise her scream-queen role from the first "Halloween" as Myers' sister, she's in and out before the non-story even gets going. Then, it's nothing but the white-masked death-dealer, looking vaguely like Michael Jackson, stalking six college kids who are spending Halloween night in the abandoned Myers home as part of an Internet reality show. Word to the wise: Don't go in the house. | |||
