	Elie Chouraqui Andie MacDowell, David Strathairn, Adrien Brody, Elias Koteas, Brendan Gleeson 2001		A battlefield view of the Serbo-Croatian conflict in the early '90s and a few disturbing insights about the dangers inherent in hot-zone journalism are the most valuable, timely elements of this soapy, farfetched drama. Sarah (Andie MacDowell, fruitlessly fighting her innate girlishness) is a suburban wife and mother who works as a staffer at a famous news magazine — and somehow gets herself inserted into a Bosnian no-man's-land when her husband, acclaimed photojournalist Harrison Lloyd (David Strathairn, at his most noble), is reported as missing there and presumed dead. Nobody can stop her. She must be one savvy, feisty dynamo! So she's right in the middle of whizzin' bullets 'n' rainin' bombs, and she manages to fall in with three of Harrison's weary colleagues: good buddy Yeager (Elias Koteas), arrogant up-and-comer Kyle (Adrien Brody) and old softie Stevenson (Brendan Gleeson). And they actually escort Sarah into the maw of doom. The climax is an eye-roller. Yep. War is hell.
