Although it has its moments, this uneasy amalgam of live action from the Farrelly brothers ("There's Something About Mary") and animation from Piet Kroon and Tom Sito doesn't dazzle. It's neither funny nor outrageous enough to stand with the best comedies. And for all of its obvious visual gags depicting the human body as an organic city populated by microscopic, sentient creatures, it's nothing more inspired than any episode of the sci-fi cartoon sitcom "Futurama" (which is consistently wittier than anything here). A game and gamy-looking Bill Murray stars as Frank, a junk-food-consuming, somewhat septic zookeeper. After scarfing down a germ-ridden hard-boiled egg, he falls ill, and it falls to disease-fighting white blood cell Osmosis Jones (voiced by Chris Rock) and time-release cold capsule Drix (voiced by David Hyde Pierce) to return Frank to health. With Chris Elliott as Frank's buddy and, in 'toon territory, the voices of Laurence Fishburne, William Shatner, Ron Howard and Brandy.
